会计英语中be charged to和be credited to的区别？

有个问题始终没有弄清楚，be charged to 和 be credited to 到底区别在哪里呀？比如be charged to income和be credited to income。有人说前者是记入收益借方，后者是记入收益贷方。准确吗？
